BUILT FROM A REAL FRUSTRATION

“

I could finish a long trail run.
Taking off my shirt was another story.

THE FITNESS PAWS FOUNDER

It started at
the end of a run.

After long trail runs, sweat made my shirt cling to my body. Pulling from the front collar didn't always work. I'd roll the shirt up from the back, then the sides, then the front—and repeat.

So I made a tool to reach the back hem and lift it. A wooden dowel, a vinyl-coated hook, and a washer. Simple parts, put together to solve a problem I kept having.

Now it stays in my gym bag or running bag. I'm developing it through Fitness Paws LLC so other runners and gym users can try it, too.

A practical idea, born after the miles.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Before you try it.

Does the tool take the entire shirt off?+

It helps lift the back hem. You then use your hand to finish removing the shirt, as shown in the demonstration.

Is it available to buy yet?+

Not yet. We're preparing a small-batch launch. Our planned launch price is $9.99 plus shipping. Orders are not open yet. Email shirtlift@fitnesspaws.com to ask about availability; no payment is requested.

Can I use it for socks or other clothing?+

Our first focus is shirt removal. Other clothing uses have not been validated, so we're keeping the instructions focused on shirts.

How should I use the prototype?+

Move slowly and gently, catch the fabric rather than skin, and stop if the shirt snags or movement is uncomfortable. Check that the hook is secure and the coating and wood are intact before use. It requires reaching over your shoulder.

NEXT UP: THE FIRST SMALL BATCH
